Mushy peas..

What’s the need?

They’re moist but dry, and I’d like to know why!

And what’s with the mint?

It’s not like just a hint, they’re properly drowned in the stuff.

There is really no need.

If they were any more vulgar they’d make my gums bleed. 

I finished my poem but this lot’s still going

I’ll sit here and scribble and try not to dribble 

It’s not a good look and it makes the ink run

Though that in itself sounds like good fun

The talk turns to cannibalism and should the lights blow

I wonder who’ll be the first one to go

Too late. Where’s my leg? Oh what astrange fate!
